Men’s Bible Studies
Beginning in February, two men’s Bible studies are available at Godspeed: The Men’s Fraternity video series and the traditional Bible study, Grow Up! Man.
Men’s Fraternity describes their Bible study series like this:
“Men’s Fraternity is a series of three one-year-long studies, beginning with The Quest for Authentic Manhood, followed by Authentic Manhood: Winning at Work and Home, and concluding with The Great Adventure series. More than just a rally or a Bible study, Men’s Fraternity provides men with an encouraging process that teaches them how to live lives of authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ and directed by the Word of God.”
“Men’s Fraternity was designed to help men come together and strengthen each other through weekly sessions that combine biblical teaching and small group interaction.”
“These time-tested resources have been used all over the world to equip men to make their pursuit of noble manhood a lifelong priority. “Men’s Fraternity was created by Robert Lewis, pastor-at-large of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas and author of Raising a Modern Day Knight. It began in 1990 with 30 participants, as Robert strived to connect with and challenge the men of his church. Over the years it has developed into a series of studies designed to engage the heart as well as the mind, stripping away the myths of manhood, and focusing on how each individual can be transformed into a true man of God. Now, more than 15,000 groups of men attend a weekly Men’s Fraternity meeting globally.”
The Grow Up! Man study led by Mike Buffi focuses on how God grows us. Whether you have been a believer for one day or 30 years, God is not through with you! By the power of the Holy Spirit and the application of God’s word, He continues to transform us from “one stage of glory to another” (II Cor 3:18). How does this happen? Through what we call the “cycle of renewal” – regeneration, revelation, restitution and renewal. Come and dig into the scriptures, and allow God’s Spirit to transform you more and more into the likeness of His Son.

Women’s Bible Studies
Three women’s Bible studies meet every other week at Godspeed: on Wednesday evenings, Thursday mornings and on Sunday afternoons. The study, The Good Living Guide, from Mathias Media, is an interactive 9-week study of the Beatitudes. These are some of the best-known verses in the Bible, but what do they really mean? The publisher describes the study this way, “The Good Living Guide unlocks the treasures of the Beatitudes by going back to the Old Testament… the guide will not only help you discover afresh the meaning of Matt. 5:1-12, but will teach you how to understand the New Testament by learning the message of the Old.
