Partnerships are a valuable aspect of ministry for us, and many of the good things around Godspeed happen with others outside our church. Some of these partners are “peers” and others are large ministries that we are blessed to network with or hitch our trailer to. One of them, Youth Ministry Internship (YMI), is a hybrid – a ministry under the oversight of the church, but also outside of Godspeed in that it’s designed for youth from other churches who are looking for Bible-based fellowship and study. Rhode Trip – Founded and directed by Todd Blount, Rhode Trip staff leads small teams of young men into the wilderness each summer for leadership training and character development. It’s an exciting adventure – both through the woods and into manhood.
The Philip Center – Staffed by Tim and Cindy Zulker, and Rich and Susan Fulton, the Philip Center works with churches and Christians all over the northeast, helping them keep outreach on the front burner.
Faith and Hope Baptist Church – Godspeed is privileged to partner with Pastor Jim Davis in supporting the ministry of his church and engaging with them in outreach initiatives to the South Providence community.
The Apollos Project– The goal of this ministry, directed by Pastor Chap Bettis, is “to connect teens to their faith, families to their children and churches to their families.”
Royal Servants – This summer missions organization has been sending high school students, including some from Godspeed, around the world since 1981. We recommend their ministry to anyone looking for international summer missions trips.
Athletes in Action at Brown – Godspeed supports the ministry of Jarrod and Susie Lynn at Brown University as they reach out to and disciple many of the athletes on campus.
LoveRI – This growing movement involving 32 churches around RI and nearby MA frequently unites in a strategy of prayer, caring and sharing.
